Refresh Quote list vs Refresh individual Quote Details

Did you know that there are 2 different refresh actions you can perform while working in the Estimating module of Dophin 4 ?

You can refresh the entire document list, or you can just refresh the details for the quote or job you are have focus on .

This is how

To refresh the entire list of quotes and jobs look for the refresh button on the bottom of the grid - and click on it

If you click on this refresh button, your list of quotes and jobs will be updated with all the new jobs and quotes that have been created since you opened the estimating screen, or since you last clicked the refresh button.

To refresh only the details of the job you are currently looking at - make sure you are on the quote or job that you want to refresh, and click on the button at the top of the estimating screen ( next to the big green plus button which creates a new Quote )

Why are there 2 buttons?

The main reason for seperating out these actions is for speed. When your system has hundreds of quotes and jobs, it is much much faster to simply refresh the individual details , or the header information in the list , rather than do a massive refresh of all the possible in the system.
